Welcome to the vibrant world of Wyndell’s Al Fresco, a unique dining destination nestled along the Marikina-Infanta Highway in Tanay, Rizal, Philippines. Open 24 hours, this restaurant invites both locals and travelers to enjoy a delightful culinary experience amidst breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
One entry point into the allure of Wyndell’s is undoubtedly its exquisite menu. The dishes here are more than just meals; they are a reflection of comfort and flavor. From the celebrated KANSI soup, which reviewers rave about for its depth of flavor, to the hearty Steak Silong, Wyndell’s offers a delightful array of options that cater to diverse palates. The generous portions paired with pickled vegetables create a balance that is both satisfying and refreshing.
However, it's important to navigate your experience with a touch of knowledge. While many have praised the relaxing atmosphere—complete with panoramic mountain views—some diners have noted that the service could benefit from a touch more attentiveness. Despite this, the friendly demeanor of staff seems to leave a positive impression, making the overall dining experience enjoyable.
Wyndell’s Al Fresco shines as a perfect spot for various gatherings, be it a cozy night out with friends, or a family get-together. As highlighted by patrons, whether you’re indulging in their rich Ube Mango Suman with a well-executed latte or sharing laughs over a pizza, the restaurant's ethos revolves around creating memorable moments.
As you plan your visit, keep in mind the cooler temperatures later in the night—a whimsical touch that adds to the dining experience, although ensuring safe travels home is essential. Overall, Wyndell’s Al Fresco stands out for its impressive views and hearty offerings, positioning it as a go-to dining spot when in the area. Whether you're after something special or simply craving comfort food, prepare for an adventure that tantalizes both the palate and the soul.
“ We were there last night @ 2200 H. The food is great and so is the place. I really like the KANSI soup that we ordered along with the pizza, cheesecakes and more. Perfect for Barkada chikahan and Family night outs! They are open 24 hours Note: The temperature is cold especially at about 0200 H. We had a foggy situation while going back to Manila, so becareful when on your way home. ”
“ Overall Experience is Okay. However, for the price you’d expect a more premium service from the staff. But, they are kind. My only concern was staff wasn’t very attentive and they were preparing the calamansi, chili and sauces where guests are able to see. Food is okay. Nothing special but not bad. It’s just okay. Taste is what you’d expect of your order. Price is on the steep side. Atmosphere I would say is the only thing that really brings people to the place. Overall 3 stars. Cheers. ”
“ The food was normal for me. Nothing too special except the superb service and relaxing atmosphere (view of the mountains from here is !) - which I think what you're really paying for here. One dish that stood out tho would be their Steak Silong (forgot how they call it)! All their silogs are served with a hefty amount of rice, really big portions of viands, and some pickled veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions) ”
“ Looking for a dining place with a view, then this can be one of your options when you're in Tanay. Prices are on the higher side though ”
“ The spectacular views of the hillside. Come in early before lunch. Only came in for a quick caffeine and snack. Their latte is well done and the Ube mango Suman is well worth to try -do not miss this. Staff are very polite and friendly. Great location and must to dine in when in the area or needed an excursion to find a great place to dine. ”
“ One of the top places to eat - on the mid to high end when it comes to prices but one of the few restos that accept credit cards. Mix of Filipino and continental cuisine - all delicious and tasty. The real downside here is that it is a restaurant, considering the prices, that DOESN'T SERVE COMPLIMENTARY WATER. Be forewarned - And bring down your Aqua flask and tumblers when you dine here. ”
“ Wyndell's Al Fresco offers a satisfying mix of good food and relaxing atmosphere. The Bangusilog and Bagnetsilog were both well-prepared—crispy, flavorful, and served with generous portions. The Brazilian Ribeye was juicy and tender, cooked to perfection. The mango shake was refreshing and a great pairing for the meal. The view adds to the dining experience, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a hearty meal. ”
